What
is Hot Foil Stamping?
Hot Foil Stamping is a very versatile method of printing. Using
Foils (available on a roll), it offers instant dry printing
without using any messy inks. Hundreds of colours and shades are
available in foils.
With foil stamping, one can easily print onto Paper, Card,
Leather, Vinyl, Plastic, PVC. Soft Wood and a host of other
surfaces.
Hot Foil Stamping is carried out either by using loose
"Type" or "Plates". Either can be attached
to the DUT-21 DIGITAL and heated to a required temperature.
Appropriate colour of Foil, is then fed through the machine and
the object to be printed placed on the print bed (Platen). A
quick light pull of the handle presses the Type/Plate against
the foil, which then releases the colour onto the product to
create an instant print - its that simple! |
